| I come from a real animal lover family. I was brought up with horses, dogs and cats. Since the day I remember we had lots of pets at home. I am sure that I used to drive my family crazy, asking for more pets. Since the day I started walking I only wanted to ride horses and loved to watch flat racing. From early age I started to develop a great passion for horses, dogs and cats. Nowadays unfortunately I don't have enough time for horses but hopefully in the nearest future I will have a new horse. When I went study in Lyon -France in 1979, the first thing I did it was to buy my own dog. A beautiful German shepherd ( working bloodline) that kept me company for many years. My German Shepherd gave me my first boost for shows. Later on when I lived between England and Cyprus for more than 11 years, I got involved in the dog world seriously and I started showing and breeding dogs (shar pei) in Cyprus and England. In the U.K I had the chance to meet Mrs. Glenda Parkes (Vanden Kennel) who happened to become a real good friend and a mentor for the breed. Glenda and I became so close that later on she honoured me to become her daughter's "Nicola" Godmother . I registered my affix " Kelkyon" in the U.K in the early ninenties and then in 1995 when I decided I was moving back to Cyprus (to make a family) for good, I transfered my affix with Cyprus Kennel Club which by then was under the F.C.I. My life with mini pinschers started a bit after I met , Mr.David Efrat in Israe lin 1995 and saw those wonderful small but very tempremental dogs. Few months later I got my first me beit Hamaayan beautiful female of a rich mahocany colour . Her name is Seggy me beit Hamaayan, born in a friend's house took all over me. She imposed her self to me that I couldn't wait to get her a companion. A bit later David , sent me another mini pin (male) and a bit later another 2 dogs( 1 male and another female) . After that, a lot of dogs came to me from his kennel . Living in Cyprus which is the most isolated island of Mediterranean makes shows in other countries a bit difficult. Nevertheless I try at least few times a year to attend Big and very important shows of our continent, Our dogs (my husband's beautiful Rotties and my Min pins) live in harmony, grow up together, socialised from early age. Our aim is not only to breed beautiful dogs but most importantly is to breed dogs free of hereditary diseases with sound characters.
